FAQs

Shipping

Shipping in the Continental (mainland) US is charged a flat rate of $10 for any size order. If you would like to expedite your shipment to receive your items faster, there will be options available at check out. Purchases sent to HI, AK, PR and other US territories are charged at USPS Priority rates, or there is also the option for expedited shipping. Expedited shipping costs are not eligible for full refunds.

We primarily use UPS and the United State Postal Service (USPS) for most of our domestic packages. We do offer expedited as well as standard shipping. Your shipping options and prices will show at check out.

We do ship internationally to many countries. Your shipping options and rates will be calculated at checkout. Please read all the shipping options carefully to make the selection that best suits your needs. Please note that your country may charge additional taxes and fees that you would be responsible to pay. Your purchase does not cover these additional fees.

If our system let you place an order, that means the items are in stock. We do not take orders for items we can't fill, commonly known as back orders

Orders that do not require tailoring will ship within 2 business days of the order date in most instances. If there are any questions or delays we will contact you.

If your order requires eyelets, torso adjustments, chest snaps or hemming, the order will need to go through tailoring. Tailoring time right now is at 7 business days. This is worst case, and strive to beat that timeline everyday.

All shipments will be processed in the order they are received. Paying for expedited shipping does not change your place in line, it only covers faster
shipping once the items are prepared to ship.

Once your return is received, we will inspect it to be sure it is in a new, sellable condition.

Quality of Materials

The JetSeam shirt fabric is produced at a mill that is OEKO-Tek 100 Certified. This means it is completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. To attain Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.

Our products have been testing for color fastness, shrinkage and piling. These tests were performed by respected labs that specialize in textiles. Our fabrics have scored very high by industry standards in all areas of testing. What this means is that we are confident we a putting out a product that can be considered top of the line.

Our pilot shirt fabrics are made primarily from cotton. Cotton is a great natural fabric that makes our shirts light and comfortable. Easy Care means the shirts are wrinkle resistant as you wear them during the day, and they are ready to go right from the dryer with only a possible light ironing needed.

Our Classic cut shirt is made from a fabric we call our Black Label fabric -55% Cotton/45% Polyester + Easy-Care. Our Modern, Slim and Women's cut shirts are made from a fabric we call our Gold Label fabric - 57% Cotton/38% Polyester/5% Spandex + Easy-Care.

Testing for our shirt fabric was done at one of top fabric mills in world following strict testing guidelines for the garment industry.

For Piling Resistance (ASTM D4970) we scored a 3.5 out 5 after 30 washes. This is between Moderate and Slight piling after significant use. This means the fabric should have very little to no pilling with normal use, even in stress areas like the shoulders where it hits the harness.

For Colorfastness to Washing (AATCC6) and Colorfastness to Crocking (AATCC8) we scored a 4 out of 5. This is between No Change and slight change to the color from washing and crocking (rubbing) both dry and wet. This means our white should stay white for the life of the shirt.

For Shrinkage our fabric had less than 1% shrink with normal washing and drying. This means the shirt should fit the same after wash as it did the first time you tried it on.

Testing for our pants was performed by Qualspec Labs.

For Piling Resistance (ASTM D4970) we scored a 4.5 out 5. This is between No Visual Change and Slight Surface Fuzzing. This means that the pants will withstand the rigors of the job, and not have the little pills of fabric that make most uniforms pants look old and worn.

For Colorfastness to Washing (AATCC6) and Colorfastness to Crocking (AATCC8) again we scored a 4.5 out of 5. This is between No Change and slight change to the color from washing and crocking (rubbing) both dry and wet.

For Dimensional Stability (AATCC TM135) our pants showed no change in width, and only a small 2% extension to length after 3 washes. This means that our pants should not have any shrink or torquing issues when washed. The product should maintain its size and shape throughout its life.

Bamboo is a plant that has great qualities for fabrics, as well as the environment. Bamboo does not require pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth. This means it is a renewable resource that does not require harmful products to grow. The fabric is breathable, and has natural moisture wicking and antimicrobial properties that will rival man made fibers. Viscose is a regenerated cellulose fiber, which means that a natural raw material isconverted through a chemical process into a fiber that falls into a category between naturals and synthetics. The source of cellulose can be wood, paper, cotton fiber or, in this case, bamboo.
