FAQs
What fabric are your pilot shirts made from?
• For our white label pilot shirts, we use a high-quality blend of 58% polyester/32% cotton/10% spandex
• Our gold label shirts are made of a blend of 57% cotton/38% polyester/5% spandex
• The black label shirts comprise of a blend of 60% cotton/40% polyester

Testing for our shirt fabric was done at one of top fabric mills in world following strict testing guidelines for the garment industry.
For Piling Resistance (ASTM D4970) we scored a 3.5 to 4.5 on our different fabrics out 5. This means there should only be slight piling after significant use. The fabric should have very little to no pilling with normal use, even in stress areas like the shoulders where it hits the harness.
For Colorfastness to Washing (AATCC6) and Colorfastness to Crocking (AATCC8) we scored a 4 out of 5. This is between No Change and slight change to the color from washing and crocking (rubbing) both dry and wet. This means our white should stay white for the life of the shirt, and the pants should not transfer in the wash or have color fading while in service.
For Shrinkage our fabric had less than 1% shrink with normal washing and drying. This means the shirt should fit the same after wash as it did the first time you tried it on.
